Cooling water temperatures

The low air speed and the related dimensions of the cooling equipment leads to a more effective heat transfer. This results in overall higher working temperatures for the cooling water in the unit, on the cold side as well as on the hot side. This makes the free cooling easier and offer the possibility of either applying less free cooling equipment or expanding the temperature range in which free cooling is still applicable. Alternatively, in case of heat harvesting, the heat generated by the Data Center has more economic value.
